As the Data Analyst, you will work with Prosperity’s team in their Overland Park, KS office and be crucial in supporting our clients’ data-driven initiatives within their businesses and the financial services sector. You will work closely with leadership and other team members to extract, clean, analyze, and present data-driven insights that inform decision-making processes and drive business strategies. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical skills and gain valuable experience in the financial industry.

To thrive, you should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field but equivalent work experience.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional data visualization and manipulation tool skills and experience (MS Excel, Power BI)
  • Experienced with SharePoint (build and use)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Knowledge of the Securities Industry
Your responsibilities as a Data Analyst will include:
  • Data Collection: Collect and compile financial data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external reports.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data cleansing, validation, and statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in financial data.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and investment decision-making.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to present data-driven insights effectively.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by conducting regular quality checks and implementing data governance best practices.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk management, and IT, to identify data-related opportunities and challenges.
