Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Rainbow Research Optics, LLC. (RROL) a privately-owned optics manufacturing company, has an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at its facility located in Centennial, Colorado. Rainbow Research Optics has been providing high quality custom and precision optics to the defense, medical, commercial, and laser markets for over 20 years.

Applicants must be a U.S Citizen or a U.S Permanent Resident.


Responsiblities:

  • Create and Maintain shipping contents in the Sales Log Book
  • Ensure the shipping/invoicing address and shipping summary match
  • Issues packing list
  • Match packing list with Certificate of Conformance (C of C)
  • Create waybill or commercial invoice with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL
  • File Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) in U.S. Census Bureau, Automated Export System Application (AESDirect)
  • Maintain complete shipping information in data base
  • Print invoices in Quickbooks and deliver to Accounting Department
  • Attach applicable legal, regulatory, and required documentation to shipments
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Six (6) months to One (1) year of related experience and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience


Physical Requirements:

The incumbent works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to dust and chemicals used in our manufacturing processes. This position may require some light physical strains, such as lifting packages up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, crouching, stretching, reaching and walking. The incumbent may use automated hardware and software tools that may strain eyesight and hands and wrists of the operator
