Legacy Service Partners in partnership with Illiana Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for a HVAC Installer

About the Role: As an HVAC Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential properties. You will be responsible for ensuring that HVAC units are installed correctly and operating efficiently to meet the comfort needs of our customers. About Us: Illiana Heating & Air is a leading HVAC service provider, offering high-quality heating, air conditioning and indoor air quality solutions in Cedar Lake & surrounding areas. Our mission is to create comfortable and energy-efficient spaces through innovative and reliable services. We are currently seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Representative to join our growing team and help us continue providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork in residential properties.
  • Conduct site inspections and measurements to determine appropriate HVAC system placement.
  • Install and connect refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and ventilation systems.
  • Perform load calculations to determine the appropriate size and capacity of HVAC units.
  • Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and HVAC codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of installations and projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' residential HVAC Installation experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass extensive criminal background check
  • Must have an insurable driving record & valid driver license
  • Able to meet physical demands and tolerate physical work environment
  • Must be able to speak, read, & write in the English language
