Location: New Bern, NCSalary: $22.00 Per HourHours: 8am to 5pm Responsibilities:
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding tasks using processes such as MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), and Flux Core (FCAW) to join metal parts together, ensuring high-quality welds that meet project specifications.
  • Reading Blueprints and Schematics: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the welds and materials needed for the job.
  • Metal Cutting and Preparation: Cut, shape, and prepare steel or other metals using tools such as torches, grinders, and saws, ensuring precise measurements and cuts.
  • Structural Assembly: Assemble and fit metal components together according to plans, ensuring all connections and joints are secure and properly aligned.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect welds and structures for defects, cracks, or weaknesses, and perform repairs or modifications as necessary to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
