Position Overview:
NextRow Digital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Recruiter Intern to join our team in Schaumburg, Illinois. This unpaid internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT recruitment and talent acquisition. Successful candidates may be offered a full-time position after a two-month internship period based on performance and proven capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to candidate onboarding.
  • Source and identify potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone and video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system.
  • Support the development and implementation of recruiting strategies and processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of job descriptions and recruitment materials.
  • Participate in career fairs and other recruiting events to represent NextRow Digital.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR and recruitment team as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in IT recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Availability to work from our Schaumburg office.
