JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for managing onsite safety activities on dedicated project sites.

 

Much of your responsibility will be with projects for an established repeat client base. Additionally, your role of Field Safety Manager is to understand and meet our customer’s needs and requirements in a pleasant and professional manner by incorporating proactive safety measures, conducting daily safety observations, conducting onsite safety trainings, and providing safety expertise and resources for the project team.

  • Knowledge of construction safety management.
  • Self-starter that takes sincere pride in your work.
  • Have a stable work history with multiple references.
  • Maintain strong work and personal ethics.
  • Complete understanding of Construction Safety and Safety Management Plans.
  • Advise and lead team members on safety-related topics.
  • Conduct Risk assessments.
  • Enforce Preventative measures.
  • Train, manage and guide onsite construction personnel.
  • Supervise Employees and Subcontractors for adherence to safety policies.
  • Work with Plant EHS to conduct safety audits.
  • Prepare and present reports.
  • Current OSHA 30-hour training minimum.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willing to travel.

This position is Safety Sensitive and Mandatory Substance Abuse testing per the St. Louis Construction Industry Substance Abuse Consortium is required.
