POSITION OVERVIEW
Lumen Field, Lumen Field Event Center and the WAMU Theater is the premier sports and events venue in the Northwest hosting over 2.4 million visitors to more than 175 events annually. Under the leadership of the Guest Services Director, the Part-Time Workforce Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for fulfilling the department scheduling, payroll and Teammate operational needs.
The Workforce Scheduling Coordinator is a part-time position that includes evenings, weekends and holidays at times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to
- Develop and maintain event schedules for Guest Services Assistant Managers, Captains, Leads and frontline Teammates with the goal of achieving the highest level of performance and service for each function. This responsibility includes scheduling employees for various types of events, auditing shift schedules to ensure correct positioning, maintaining operational updates and ongoing communication with Teammates and management
- Manage the department Teammate call-off portal that includes maintaining documentation and filling shift changes for all move-in and move-out, as well as event day needs requiring Guest Services support
- Run and distribute event day reports in Dayforce to inform management of event details
- Staff (as needed) the Dayforce Help Desk on event dates, including evenings and weekends
- Maintain open lines of communication with the event staff with an emphasis on addressing any scheduling matters and event information in a timely fashion
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Guest Services
- Possess a high school diploma. Some college experience is preferred
- Strong computer skills with a keen aptitude for understanding and maximizing the potential of information systems and technology
- Demonstrates in all aspects of job performance a service-oriented attitude
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information and situations
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management
- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in job responsibilities
- Highly developed attention to detail in producing accurate materials and reports
- Proven strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills in both written and verbal communication with the ability to convey ideas and information clearly and efficiently
- Ability to maintain a flexible hybrid work schedule, which includes traditional business hours, weeknights, weekends and holidays
- Must pass pre-employment background check
