Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office settings and possess knowledge of managed care, medical terminology, and industry standards.

Job Duties

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

- Mantain copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and other required credentialing documents for our providers

- Verify provider credentials, licenses, and certifications

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files and databases

- Communicate with providers and insurance companies to resolve credentialing issues

- Assist in preparing reports related to credentialing activities

Qualifications

- Associates Degree preferred, High School diploma, or GED required

- Tech Savy - able to learn new programs or software easily

- Proven experience as a Credentialing Specialist or similar role in a medical office setting

- Familiarity with managed care organizations and credentialing processes

- Knowledge of medical terminology and industry standards

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
