ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will begin as a seasonal full-time employee with the expected dates of employment being from September 2024 through the end of January 2025 with the ability to transition to a permanent full-time tole with proven success and as REP business demands permit (At discretion of REP)
The retail specialist will work closely with other retail and commercial specialist peers, under supervision from the West Coast Retail Manager. This role will involve high amounts of face-to-face interaction with customers in a retail showroom setting. The retail specialist will be confident in their ability to assist and close sales for all products sold by REP. In addition to face-to-face interaction, the retail specialist will assist customers virtually, both through phone calls and emails when applicable. They should be confident in their ability to navigate basic computer functions and be able to learn the basics of complex customer and warehouse management systems.
Full time: Tuesday - Saturday from 9AM to 5PM
*Holiday Hours around Black Friday will require attendance for the duration of the Black Friday weekend.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide world-class service to our in-store customers.
- Assist customers with selection of gym equipment by maintaining thorough knowledge of all products.
- Assist in loading the order after being selected by warehouse staff.
- Maintain a clean showroom to provide customers with an optimal shopping experience.
- Process sales orders, returns and exchanges.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and issues via email or phone when not assisting an in-store customer.
- Record details of actions taken with customers in CRM.
- Participate in ongoing product training to remain up to date with REPs newest products.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
