Position: Process Review Specialist

Pay: $20.00 / hr. - $23.00 / hr. Depending on Experience

The Process Review Specialist will review, analyze, and audit data, information and processes as assigned. This position will provide quality control to processes including, but not limited to information entered into the various systems by the referral center. This position will also review processes within any assigned departments for accuracy and ensure these processes are being followed, improved, and provide quality control.

Responsibilities:

  1. Stays current on all services offered by the company.
  2. Assists in coordinating and facilitating ongoing training for product knowledge, telephone techniques and sales application.
  3. Prepares specific reports and communicates on a regular basis with immediate supervisor and appropriate personnel.
  4. Identifies the caller’s needs and takes proper action to see that those needs are handled in a friendly and professional manner. Handles inquiries or inquiries for service(s) in a timely manner.
  5. Assists in maintaining efficient, accurate records regarding all pertinent information for insurance verification.
  6. Stays informed of new health care developments and trends for all departments.
  7. Ensures Notice of Elections for Medicare patients are entered into the Fiscal Intermediaries data entry program.
  8. Participates in the performance improvement (PI) quality assurance program.
  9. Assists with preparing and maintaining billing files. Responsible for moving patient files as needed
  10. Provides back up for the Hospice Office Managers to ensure accurate and timely information required by the corporate office for billing, scheduling, and payroll.
  11. Responsible for taking and processing referrals, when needed

Qualification:

  1. A high school graduate or the equivalent preferred.
  2. Proficient with common office software such as word processing and spreadsheets, etc.
  3. Must be well organized and detail oriented.
  4. Must be able to communicate clearly and comprehend written and verbal communications.
