Position: Corporate Business Development Manager

Pay: 70K-100K Based on experience

Location: Sheridan, MI or St. Clair, MI

Shift: 1st


Summary of Position Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a sales representative to generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts; Assess potential needs of current customers for products or services.
  • Supports customers, internal and external, for new and existing product development, manufacturing feasibility and design specifications.
  • Directs and assists in the development of quotes.
  • Develops cost analyses and proposals for customers.
  • Active role in the operational / corporate level meetings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, develops and maintains long term relationships with customers through managing and interpreting their requirements.
  • Manage quote process to support new business growth & goals.
  • Maintain or improve customer account margins.
  • Participate in developing strategies to address low contribution margin part or customers.
  • Provides future forecast for new awards.
  • Active role in weekly APQP meeting - Involved in new product launch.
  • Support APQP items relating to the customer needs.


Qualifications:

  • 5 – 10 years plastic injection molding experience.
  • 5 years sales experience.
  • 5 years tooling / engineering experience.
  • 2 years product design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Must have a valid drivers license & acceptable driving record (MVR)
  • Must have ability to travel internationally
