Dietary Director

The Dietary Director at Hope's Creek Retirement Living is a crucial position responsible for managing all aspects of the dietary department. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and collaborates with other departments to ensure a seamless operation.

• Lead the dietary team and manage daily operations of the department.
• Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of the residents.
• Supervise food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and dietary restrictions.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality and presentation of meals, making adjustments as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, and budgeting for the dietary department.
• Train and educate staff on proper food handling, safety procedures, and customer service skills.
• Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate meals and dietary requirements for special events and resident activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to menu planning, dietary restrictions, and resident satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new food products, and nutritional guidelines to enhance the dining experience for residents.

• Prior experience in a supervisory role within a food service or healthcare setting.
