The Collaboration Systems Administrator is a key member of the Upward Health Technology Department, responsible for developing and maintaining the various administrative systems used by Technology personnel, as well as helping to develop and maintain Upward Health’s Internet and Intranet resources. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner experienced with high demand work environments, familiar with Microsoft and Android platforms, and comfortable teaching users while providing support services. Said candidate will be a skilled troubleshooter and a dynamic team player who understands the importance of collaboration and communication.

The Collaboration Systems Administrator role represents a unique opportunity for the right person to gain valuable service and technical experience while working in a cohesive team environment to provide systems administration, support, and training for technical teams based throughout the United States. Applicants must possess a professional demeanor and be self-motivated, having a strong desire to learn while maintaining flexibility and understanding that the scope of services and protocols will evolve along with our organization’s mission of improving healthcare delivery for underserved populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Intimately acquainted with the administration of Atlassian collaboration software; Jira customization and development experience is essential, while Confluence proficiency is a plus.
  • Fluent with the administration and development of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, with a primary focus on Sharepoint and Teams, but proficiency with Microsoft OneDrive, Project, and Whiteboard also desired.
  • Maintenance and Support of Upward Health communications infrastructure, including (but not limited to): 8x8 Telecommunications platform, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams (telephony, chat, and video functionality), and various e-fax solutions.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications, including (but not limited to): Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, approaching problems with a can-do attitude while exhibiting the ability to work independently, and demonstrating the awareness to escalate issues when needed.
  • Participating in (and occasionally leading) technical projects in addition to normal day-to-day support responsibilities, developing subject matter expertise and expanding vital Upward Health Infrastructure architecture and documentation.
  • Deliver reports and summaries to management which highlight problem areas related to our systems and technical processes, along with resolution proposals.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or sufficient professional experience in a comparable technical support role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service and education.
  • Ability to maintain (and improve when necessary) collaborative project workflows and reporting dashboards across multiple technical disciplines.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, and an ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Comfortable researching and recommending new/alternative practices, programs, and systems.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish fluency a plus.
