We cover all the needs to properly manage the construction project including pricing, project management and in house engineering design, shop drawings, and detailing. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team The HR Manager will report direct to the CEO and will play a crucial role in supporting our workforce and ensuring that our HR operations run smoothly and efficiently.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including OSHA standards
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or allegations of misconduct
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop training programs for employees
  • Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR
  • Process payroll (Exp. in Paylocity, a plus)
  • Facilitate new employee orientation
  • all other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • 5+ years experience s an HR Manager or similar role
  • Experience dealing with union contracts and negotiations
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Paylocity,
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, including interviewing techniques and candidate evaluation
  • Familiarity with succession planning and talent management strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage complex employee relations issues
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives to streamline HR operations
  • Knowledge of organization design principles to support business growth
  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Work Location: In person

  • Sitting for Extended Periods: Much of an HR manager's work involves desk-based tasks, so the ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer is important.
