Job Summary: Account Coordinator facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of customer service, clerical, and administrative tasks

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Monitor team mailbox(es), assign to appropriate Team Member(s) and maintain the box in an organized fashion
  • Run Reports to recognize and produce actionable detail and then communicate that to the appropriate parties in a timely manner
  • Provide a timely and professional customer service response to Customer and, at times, proactive communication
  • Assist Customer Service with “Expedited” Shipments processing
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless and efficient customer experiences
  • Communicate with diplomacy to Customers such information as is appropriate
  • Follow up with Task Owners to ensure deadlines are met on time
  • Perform “End of Day” administrative, clerical and filing tasks
  • Additional Duties as needed

Education and Experience:
  • Knowledge of Transportation/Logistics/Distribution operations a plus, but not required
  • Prior use of Warehouse Management System (WMS) a plus but not required
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Can generate reports and maintain accurate, detailed records
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and accurately
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years experience in an administrative role

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
