Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs the leading global association of mutual funds, ETFs, and other regulated funds, the mission of the Investment Company Institute (ICI) is to strengthen the foundation of the asset management industry for the ultimate benefit of the long-term individual investor.

We currently have an internship opportunity available in our Law department during the fall semester.

This is a great opportunity to work with attorneys developing policy positions and analyzing legislative and regulatory proposals relevant to the mutual fund industry. Interns also will have the opportunity to attend meetings with mutual fund industry participants.

The intern will assist securities and/or international attorneys in the following ways:

  • Research legal and regulatory issues
  • Participate in the process of writing comment letters
  • Draft communications to members
  • Work on various policy projects

If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:

  • Current law student with excellent academic credentials (including coursework in securities law)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Related work or internship experience
