POSITION TITLE: Commercial Quality Control Expeditor
SUPERVISED BY: Empire Commercial Superintendent

POSITION PURPOSE:
Effectively perform and manage all punch-out duties on new construction properties throughout the completion phase of the construction process.
PRIMARY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Schedule and communicate with team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
? Manage internal walk-through and quality control checklist
? Document, identify, perform, and resolve punch-out lists
? Professional communication with subcontractors
? Conduct quality checks
? Other duties as assigned to ensure projects are on schedule.
? Ensure quality standards are achieved prior to occupancy
? General Labor duties are expected (i.e., site clean-up, material handling, etc.
EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in construction and the home building industry
SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS
? Preferred experience in construction
? Basic computer skills
? Able to collaborate with internal team, subcontractors and vendors
? Strong organizational and prioritization skills
? Attention to detail
? Must be dependable and trustworthy
? Ability to problem solve
? Insurable driving record
POSITION TYPE:
Full-time, weekdays,
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Physical:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an construction setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight 75 lbs; to operate necessary equipment required to fulfill the needs of the job. No travel or weekends required.
Environment:
Work is performed primarily indoors and outdoors.
