We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Communications Specialist to support the day to day activities of our client’s front office. This position is ideal for someone who is driven to be of assistance, very resourceful and motivated to make daily contributions to the team. Our ideal candidate is a detail oriented, self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work under minimal supervision to obtain desired results. The candidate must be reliable with a flexible attitude and the ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a highly visible environment. Professionalism in interacting with customers and upper management with strong interpersonal skills are essential.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide staff coverage of the customer service desk

· Greet and direct visitors in and around the office

· Direct walk-in requests for services to the correct personnel or division

· Answer calls to the customer service lines and respond to requests for information

· Assist customers by routing the requests to the correct personnel

· Log all incoming documents utilizing appropriate software

· Conduct data entry for various automated systems (as directed)

· Sort and distribute mail delivered to the office

· Direct deliveries made to the office

· Maintain conference room reservations utilizing an automated system

· Submit requests to IT or building services (as needed)

· Maintain calendar for upper management including reserving meeting space (as needed)

· Assist staff with engagement events including venue set up and break down (as needed)

· Create and make updates to organization-wide messaging and communications in a variety of formats

· Ensure the consistency of content, language, and tone for all deliverables

· Conceptualize and develop a wide variety of informational materials

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Recent college graduate with 1 to 2 years’ experience

· Responsible and flexible attitude with great communication and coordination skills

· Consistent workload management of simultaneous tasks

· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
