The Pool Construction Operations Manager will oversee the entire pool construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role is crucial in managing workflows, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll be the central figure ensuring that every detail—from permits to final walkthroughs—is handled with precision and care.


Compensation:

  • Salary range: $60,000 depending on experience

Compensation:

Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Take charge of pool construction projects from the moment a contract is signed. Create and manage project timelines, coordinate with engineering firms, handle permits, and ensure all project details are meticulously organized.
  • Workflow Coordination: Gather production information from sales and map out the construction sequence using tools like Gantt charts. Schedule subcontractors and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality of construction work, ensuring the pool layout and design specifications are followed precisely. Conduct regular inspections and manage any necessary adjustments.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, scheduling final walkthroughs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and demonstrating how to use pool equipment. Collect Google reviews to build the company’s online reputation.
  • Systems and Process Implementation: Utilize data-driven approaches and strategic thinking to streamline operations. Implement systems and processes that enhance efficiency and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Tech-Savvy Operations: Leverage technology to manage project data, schedules, and communications. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in construction project management, ideally with a focus on residential or commercial projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with workflow tools and project management software; proficiency in Gantt charts is highly desirable.
  • Calm and collected under pressure, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Background in systems and process implementation; Six Sigma or similar training is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • No degree is required, but relevant training or certifications are preferred.
