Requirements:Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the 3rd shift & 24/5 distribution center to ensure efficient and effective workflow which includes 5 direct reports and 48 indirect reports consisting of 10,000 SKUs supporting our company owned stores as well as direct to customer shipments and e-commerce sales fulfillment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage and mentor a team of supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on operational performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, customer service, and procurement, to streamline processes and support overall business objectives.
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the distribution center with support from the VP of Supply Chain.
- Lead initiatives related to warehouse technology and automation to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in distribution center or warehouse management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
