Universal Pure is hiring a Director for Business Development as a full-time job in the United States.

As the Director of Business Development, you will work with, learn from, and collaborate with the Regional VP to develop, and grow assigned customers. This role will build new customer pipeline through effective hunting that enables organic and external revenue and EBITDA objectives to be achieves. You will be responsible for developing best in class, strategic, valued Customer Relationships, having consistent engagement with CRM and building expert negotiation skills.

Universal Pure was founded in 2001 as a cold storage warehouse facility in Lincoln, NE with deep roots in the cold supply chain. Over time, our customers’ needs grew for other integrated food and beverage services, so we expanded their capabilities and footprint to meet the needs of our growing customer base. Now Universal Pure is a one-stop-shop HPP service provider to the food and beverage industry, offering a suite of cold chain solutions at eight U.S. facilities, across seven locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance short and long-term partnerships to ensure revenue objectives are met

  • Drive consistent, above budget revenue and EBITDA growth of assigned accounts

  • Develop strategic vision and roadmap that results in a collaborative, growth and value-added partnership with all customers

  • Expand services provided to existing and new customer base such as HPP, Value Added Service, Cold Storage, and any other services

  • Identify targets for "tuck in" M&A opportunities that positively impact Universal Pure


Job Qualifications:

  • Consistent and proven ability to impact strategic direction, revenue, and EBITDA growth of assigned customers and book of business

  • Consistent and proven commercial and project quarterback management skills that result in strategic partnership growth and new business

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, sales training and sales management experience required

  • Demonstrated excellence in the areas of negotiation, driving results, ensuring accountability, time management, decision-making, human relations, and strategic ability

  • Strong business acumen
