ATG is currently seeking a Roadway Design Analyst for our Austin, Texas office. This position will be a key hire to help grow our Roadway Design practice.

The Roadway Design Analyst provides support to the professional engineering staff in the development of traffic and roadway plans and design, performs routine aspects of civil engineering assignments such as grading, drainage, paving, geometric design, utility design, etc., and applies prescribed methods to complete limited and specific portions of the broader assignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering, planning or related field.
  • EIT certification or ability to acquire same within 3 months.
  • 0-3 years of progressive experience performing engineering duties similar to those listed above. Knowledge of engineering software, programs, and methods used for duties described above.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microstation and GEOPAK CADD software.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with transportation manuals and regulations.
  • Familiarity with TXDOT standards
