Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. We are looking for skilled, talented, and compassionate people to join our team Maryhaven was founded on the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in 1953, opening our doors to serve an overlooked segment of our population, women in need of substance abuse recovery services. Under the supervision of the Housing Supervisor, the QMHS will assist in maintaining the therapeutic environment and safety of the housing unit. The QMHS will work in collaboration with both the medical and clinical staff in providing the most effective and supportive treatment to all clients admitted onto the housing unit. This position is included in a bargaining unit represented by SEIU.

Patient Care Assistant: Recovery House Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience with a 12 Step Program or comparable experience.
  • Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) qualified beneficial.
  • Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) preferred.
  • Certified Peer Recovery Support (APS) preferred.
