What You'll Do 

  • Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times 

  • Exercise daily supervision and skillful coordination of front office personnel  

  • Oversee guest arrival and departure experiences, handle transactions and address a variety of guest inquiries  

  • Fully resolve guest issues, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction 

  • Monitor occupancy, rates, and bookings using PMS system 

  • Participate in recruitment of new front desk staff, coupled with hands-on involvement in instruction and training processes  

  • Enforce standards for guest service, quality, standards, compliance, and safety 

  • Prepare schedules, payroll, and evaluations for front office team 

  • Conduct daily meetings and facilitate functional inter-departmental communication 

  • Manage room blocking, room assignments, and inventory 

  • Own the manger-on-duty role, supervising others and overseeing any issues that may arise 

  • Supervise billing and credit limit to ensure the precise receipt of funds for the hotel 

 

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years front desk experience required 

  • Supervisory experience in hospitality preferred 

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 

  • Strong leadership, training, and team building abilities 

  • Proficient with property management systems and software 

  • Highly organized with ability to multitask
