About Us
G2 is an integrated multi-product, industry-focused investment bank crafting bespoke solutions for corporate and investor clients. We provide investment banking and financial advisory services to middle-market clients across Transportation & Logistics, Industrials and Manufacturing, Technology & Business Services, and Consumer & Retail The company was formed in 2010 by Jeffrey Unger, Chairman & CEO, who sought to fill a void in the marketplace by founding a firm that was capable of supporting clients through the entire business life cycle. Supporting clients through up and down markets and growth & distressed situations is core to our model. The G2 team comprises C-level industry executives with deep operational and capital markets expertise, many of whom were initially introduced to G2 as clients, including G2’s current President, Matt Konkle.
G2 Capital is headquartered in Boston, with certain leaders working remotely to meet market needs. The company has over 60 professionals and independent advisors.
Company Culture
G2’s slogan: “Failure is not an option. It is the discipline and tenacity with which we perform our services and execute our client’s goals,” is much more than a marketing statement. This high-performance culture is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and continuously focused on improvement, respect, and collaboration. G2 is not your stereotypical investment bank. Our unique model of pairing former industry-focused owners & operators with financial advisory experts allows for a well-rounded perspective and intimate understanding of the situations our clients find themselves in.
