The selected individual reports directly to the Board of Directors.

The company, located in Maryland, is a small to mid-sized savings institution with over 50 employees.

The President is responsible for overall leadership and direction for day-to-day operations, ensuring sound judgement in business decisions, monitoring the company's financial health, and making sure goals and objectives are met. This position communicates plans and input to the Board of Directors that will impact policies and decision-making.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership qualities with at least 10 years' experience in management of financial institutions, a technical skill set in finance, lending, information technology, operations, human resources, and marketing. A thorough understanding of the rules, regulations, and laws impacting financial institutions and a high-level of analytical ability to assess and evaluate the operations, participate in establishing financial goals, analyze new products/services, review legal opinions, and presentation of operational reports to the Board is necessary.

The individual selected should be comfortable managing a diverse team and working in a financial institution environment.

Educational requirements are a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting. Graduate degree is preferable. Compensation includes an excellent starting salary and an annual performance bonus based on the company's successes.

Local travel is required.
