Sr. Crew Leader $20.47 - $22.37 hr (per experience level)

  • Temporary position; 3-6 month duration
  • 40 hours per week M-Thurs (7:30-5:30) Fri (8:00-12:00)
  • 5% pay adder for bi-lingual English/Spanish skills.

Our Sr Crew Leader will specifically target fuel reduction activities by leading small groups of work experience participants.

Duties include;

  • Coordinate, organize and direct site activities for participants and volunteers.
  • Provide on-site training and technical assistance.
  • Manage supply inventory, purchase equipment and maintain accurate cost records.
  • Prepare and track job progress and completion reports.
  • Educate and engage community members on work activities.
  • Maintain appropriate safety measures for all work activities.

The ideal candidate will have work experience in wildland fire management/fuel reduction programs.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least three years practical trade experience in vocational education, construction, natural resource management, community development and or public health; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Valid driver's license, maintain minimum liability auto insurance and insurable driving record to operate vehicle on agency business. To apply go to www.communityservices.us
