SITE DIRECTOR (PART-TIME): Afterschool Program Site Director, Wilmington, NC

Location: IMMEDIATE HIRE: Island Montessori Charter School and PreK- 6339 Carolina Beach Rd. Wilmington, NC 28412

Schedule: PM 2:30pm-6pm Monday-Friday No Weekends

Pay & Benefits:

  • $17.00/hour

As an AlphaBEST Captain, you'll be trained to do the following:

  • Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more
  • Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
  • Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
  • Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
  • Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Must have HS diploma, Associates or Bachelors in Education in a child developed field preferred. Experience in a classroom setting or group setting with at least 15 students.
  • Must be at least 21years old
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
