This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being of our residents in alignment with our organization's mission and policies. The Memory Care Center Supervisor is tasked with maintaining a therapeutic environment that upholds each resident's physical, social, and psychological well-being at its highest level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Memory Care Center with a focus on excellence and compassion.
- Implement and oversee Memory Care Center services, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and guidelines.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Memory Care Center staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Act as a representative of the Assisted Living Department and the organization, embodying professionalism and positivity in all interactions.
- Ensure the timely and professional execution of essential job functions, maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in social work, case management, or nursing.
- Prior experience working with elderly populations in a dementia care setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated personal integrity and the ability to lead with integrity.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective planning skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills for data access, communication, and report preparation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments within the organization.
- Display patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a cheerful disposition in all interactions.
