Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met
  • Run sold room reports and verify room status to identify discrepant rooms
  • Prioritize room cleaning and update status of departing guest rooms
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities
  • Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments
  • Communicate issues to next shift
  • Complete required paperwork
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift
  • Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience
