Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant - Back Office to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your duties will include performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our occupational medicine clinic.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in patient examinations and procedures

- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical data

- Prepare and administer medications and injections under the supervision of a healthcare professional

- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for testing

- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment

- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records

- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and ethical standards


Requirements:

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program

- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications


Hourly Rate Range: $18.00-$21.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
