We provide our new Customer Service Sales Representatives with ongoing training and support on their path to success so they can best serve our customers


Our office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding customer service sales team.


We are currently seeking to fulfill a part-time position that can transition into full-time when fully licensed.


Our Customer Service Sales Representatives will be responsible for providing:

  • exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects,
  • processing policy change requests, payments, and more,
  • maintain knowledge of our products
  • answer any questions our clients may have, and
  • support our team.


Insurance industry office experience and knowledge is not required, but would be a greater benefit to help relate to customers at the beginning for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office over the phone in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via in person, telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
  • Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Process customers payments .
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
  • Return all phone messages promptly.
  • Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Generating insurance quotes.
  • Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
  • Claims follow up calls.
  • Obtain prospects information such as name, address, vehicle information and enter into quote sheets.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
  • Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.
  • Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices
  • Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone
  • Uphold the wants and needs of your customers
  • Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
  • Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits/risks of the policy
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Read personal development books as assigned.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Create relationships from a cold start.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
  • Prior Sales Experience - preferred
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Career minded vision.
  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
  • Exceptional Business Writing and Editing Skills.
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
  • Minimum education: certificated, college, Associates degree in Business.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
  • Being bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish, is preferred.
  • Interested in a sales career, sales experience preferred
  • No insurance experience required, but must be willing to learn
