Sous Chef - Full Time - Retreat Center

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. In this immersive experience, you will play a key role in crafting exceptional dining experiences for our guests, fostering a positive kitchen culture, and supporting the Head Chef.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in menu development, preparation, and execution.
Assist in inventory control.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Be a team player in a collaborative and positive environment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspace.
Participate in food prep, cooking, and service for up to 80+ guests.
Adhere to all food safety guidelines and maintain ServSafe certification (a plus).
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, time management, flexibility, and adaptability.
Work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment.
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Positive and encouraging attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes.
A willingness to learn new things and adapt to changing needs.
A commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
