The Human Resources Manager will partner with the leadership team to coach and direct employee engagement, hire and interview staff, administer pay, benefits, performance management, personal leave management, and providing guidance on company policies and practices.


Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate partnership with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's talent strategy particularly as it relates to production goals, current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, cross training, and succession planning.
  • Be highly visible throughout the business and address employee issues with patience and empathy.
  • Coach employees to achieve their goals within the organizational structure.
  • Counsel employees regarding work, family, or personal issues.
  • Act as liaison between all employees and management to address opportunities, concerns, issues, and challenges.
  • Promote and cultivate a positive and productive culture through effective best practices.
  • Identify interpersonal conflicts, mediate successful resolutions, and monitor outcomes to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Facilitate employee training as needed.
  • Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Partners with Corporate Recruiters to manage the talent acquisition process, which may include supporting recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Supports Annual Employee Engagement Survey, Focus Groups, and action plan process.
  • Partners with the Vice President of HR to create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Coordinate employee activities with the Employee Engagement Committee throughout the year.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supplemental Duties:

  • Comply with Disaster preparedness and Emergency Procedures.
  • Follow ISO type process work instructions and procedures.
  • Actively comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide subject matter expertise for software implementations and upgrades.
  • Ensure the highest level of process compliance and accuracy are maintained for all activities.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of three years of Human Resource Management and a proven track record as an HR Business Partner.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
  • Practical experience in operating spreadsheets and MS office software.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
  • Strong employee support and communication skills.

  • Work primarily takes place in an office environment with routine employee engagements on the manufacturing factory floor.
