Summary of Position

At the Maybourne Beverly Hills, the Special Project Manager is responsible for assuring 5 Star service is provided. You will be pivotal in ensuring the success of events, private parties, corporate functions to public gatherings and promotional activities. You will also assist with shaping and enhancing Dante brand through the strategic partnerships, event planning and execution. You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences that reflect Maybourne and Dante Beverly Hill’s Mission and Purpose. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, excellent communication and strong organizational skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with Dante Creative Director and General Manager of the restaurant to oversee style guides and brand voice for all public relations, marketing and advertising.
  2. Liaison with NY Dante team to create cohesive programs and communication.
  3. Act as an advocate and ambassador of Dante Beverly Hills at Maybourne alongside with the GM and Creative Director to ensure that the brand’s message and value are accurately and effectively communicated and represented through all facets (communications, physical branding, standards, etc.)
  4. Lead, mentor and inspire a dedicated team, promoting a culture of excellence and professional development.
  5. Assist with Dante Beverly Hills social platforms
  6. Reviews daily, responds to messages, comments and tags
  7. Posts static 3x per week
  8. Posts stories and static posts daily or as needed
  9. Monitor Dante Beverly Hills email daily and respond to all inquiries within 24 hours
  10. Monitor reviews across platforms for Dante Beverly Hills, flagging negative reviews and responding in appropriate manner within 24 hours
  11. Reservation oversight
  12. Manage VIP guest relations, oversee reservations and recommending experience touchpoints
  13. Manage Dorsia reservations – confirm reservation daily, review requests, point of contact for Dorsia team
  14. Manage Resy platform – adjusting floor plan and availability when needed
  15. Support Maitre D’, colleagues and restaurant management when needed
  16. Create, manage and execute special programming and events
  17. Oversee any off-site Dante events
  18. Establish and maintain relationship with NY Dante management team
  19. Establish and maintain relationship with third party vendors
  20. Act as the primary point of contact for event inquiries and collaboration
  21. Assist Dante events manager when needed
  22. Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum three years of experience in event planning and program management in hospitality industry
  2. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail
  3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  4. Strong understanding of brand management principles and marketing strategies
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and excellence
  7. Familiarity with POS systems (Micros Symphony), inventory management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Physically able to walk and sit for extended periods of time
