We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate billing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable Management:
    • Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
    • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.
  • Billing & Invoicing:
    • Generate and distribute invoices to clients based on contract terms and billing schedules.
    • Ensure billing accuracy by reviewing contracts and agreements for compliance.
    • Manage and maintain billing systems and documentation.
  • Customer Service:
    • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to billing and payment issues.
    • Address and resolve customer disputes or concerns professionally and efficiently.
    • Provide support to customers regarding account adjustments and credits.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Associate's or BS degree in Accounting or related field a plus
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing.
    • Familiarity with accounting software and billing systems
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
