Our client is a growing custom automation systems manufacturer. They're known as a leader in their industry and are looking for an experienced applications engineer who is ready to grow with them and be part of a team which develops new business for challenging custom automation systems engineering projects.
Client Overview

A leading designer, manufacturer, and integrator of custom automation systems
Known for being the best in design concept, technology, and process to deliver solutions to complex problems
A local company with a cutting-edge manufacturing facility to offer machining, fabrication, assembly, and system testing services

Position Overview

Solicit and/or respond to requests for quotations from new and existing customers
Meet with customers, analyze RFQ information, develop machine concepts, prepare pricing worksheets and proposals for formal presentations
Follow-up and secure customer orders
Launch kick-off meeting with project team
Provide support and guidance to the project team for the duration of the project
Provide support for project modifications regarding scope, price, or delivery
Travel as required to support customer and business development opportunities

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required
Ideally more than 7 years applications sales experience in the custom automation industry
Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without restrictions
