Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC units to identify the root cause of malfunctions and performance issues
• Perform repairs on HVAC units, including replacing faulty components, repairing wiring or leaks, and restoring proper functionality
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on HVAC units to ensure optimal performance, including cleaning coils, lubricating moving parts, and checking electrical connections
• Inspect and test HVAC systems to assess their condition and identify potential problems or areas for improvement
• Document all service and repair activities accurately, including parts used, work performed, and any additional recommendations or findings
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repair or maintenance procedures, and offering recommendations for improving HVAC system efficiency and performance
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing all HVAC service and repair tasks
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to HVAC systems through continuous learning and professional development opportunities

Job requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Service Technician and or-
• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Maintenance technician
• Proficiency in repairing and servicing all brands of HVAC products and equipment
• Training and qualifications in installing and servicing IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) products, along with relevant experience in IAQ installations
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Successful completion of driving, background, and drug testing
• Compensation will be based on experience, with opportunities for continuing education as required
• Willingness to work on-call and be part of a rotational schedule
