We have a client seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Finance specializing in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will oversee the financial operations related to billing, collections, and revenue optimization, with a proven track record of managing offshore teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, extensive experience in healthcare financial operations, and a deep understanding of RCM processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue cycle performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee the financial operations related to billing, collections, and revenue optimization.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Revenue Cycle Operations:

  • Manage the end-to-end revenue cycle process, including patient registration, billing, coding, claims processing, and collections.
  • Implement best practices to improve efficiency, reduce denials, and accelerate cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

Offshore Team Management:

  • Lead and manage an offshore team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the offshore team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the offshore team, providing regular feedback and support.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support for professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.

Acquisition Integration:

  • Lead financial due diligence and integration processes for acquisitions.
  • Assess the financial performance of target companies and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop integration plans to align acquired entities with the company's financial and operational goals.
  • Ensure smooth transition and integration of financial systems, processes, and teams.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and vendors.
  • Work closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of financial and operational processes.
  • Communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within revenue cycle management.
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams in a finance or RCM context.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare financial operations, billing, coding, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of optimizing revenue cycle processes and achieving financial targets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and revenue cycle management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
