Job Description

Essential Functions:

The ideal candidate will work with minimal guidance in a fast paced, ambiguous work environment, and will have the ability to independently translate high level guidance into detailed deliverables. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who thrives in hands-on environments, capable of diving into the work, taking ownership, and delivering results without the need for constant supervision or managerial oversight. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good interpersonal skills and executive presence and be able to successfully manage cross-functional stakeholders at varying levels. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Defining the holistic global objectives, desired outcomes, and approach to managing merchant data quality.

  • Orchestration of merchant data quality programs, timing, requirements, and impacts across regions, programs, organizations, and systems.

  • Development of messaging articulating the benefits of adherence to data quality standards to global Acceptance clients.

  • Development of communication plans, content, and artifacts for internal and external audiences.

  • Development of executive-level presentations and regular updates to demonstrate findings, progress, timelines, and risks and communicate recommendations in a clear, concise, and impactful way.

  • Data and analytics reporting to measure performance, track progress, and identify issues and facilitate compliance program(s) management execution.

  • Manage the day-to-day project and team activities to meet project goals and timelines.

  • Identification and execution of future strategic data initiatives to solve key pain points on the seller-side ecosystem.

  • Structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues. Build out unique, creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across Visa's many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development.

  • Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations.

  • Work closely with cross-functional and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry preferred (acceptance ecosystem highly preferred)
• Ability to independently lead and manage projects with multiple workstreams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems
• Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling
• Experience with Visa data, Visa systems, and Visa stakeholder alignment
• Demonstrated cross-functional experience in large matrix organizations
• Impeccable written communication in both prose and visual presentations
• Able to tackle shifting priorities at high speeds
• Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible
• Ability to inspire and influence those around you, even without direct management responsibility, proven success influencing senior stakeholders, and decision makers



Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,900 to 191,700 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
