Enviremedial Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to assist in the cleaning of oil-water separator units at NAWS China Lake & MCB Twentynine Palms using our specialized Enviremedial Services Inc. equipment. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn our systems and methods for efficient wastewater treatment. Our equipment is unique to the industry, and on-the-job training will be provided. We are looking for a hard-working individual committed to learning and delivering exceptional customer service. Mechanical inclination, physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ pounds, and stamina for long bouts of physical labor are required abilities for this position.

Job Details:

- Travel Requirement: Our Oil Water Separator (OWS) Team typically travels for two weeks per month, with two weeks of paid stand-by time. This schedule may change based on contract requirements or new contract awards.

- Stand-By Tasks: During stand-by weeks, you may be assigned tasks such as vehicle maintenance, safety training, and occupational training.

- Security Clearance: This position is on a military base, so candidates must be able to pass a background check to be issued a contractor Department of Defense (D.O.D) badge.

Education:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

Knowledge:
Mechanical (Proficient to advanced) - knowledge of machinery and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service.

Tasks:

  • Cleaning oil water separator units , using ESI developed equipment.
  • Clean and maintain tanks, filter beds, and other work areas using hand tools and power tools.
  • Clean and maintain equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and withstand long bouts of physical labor.
  • Travel is a requirement for this position - Each OWS run last approximately 5 days, and trips can sometimes occur on back to back weeks.

    • Eligibility To become eligible to participate in the ESOP the employee must have attained the age of 21. An eligible employee who has worked at least 1,000 hours in a 12-month period beginning on their date of hire will become a "Participant" in the plan on the first January 1 or July 1 after the end of the 12-month period.
  • Vacation - Effective immediately
    • 0-3 years of service: 80 Hours - 10 days each year - Accumulation Max 120 hours
    • 4-5 years of service: 96 Hours - 12 days each year- Accumulation Max 136 hours
    • 6+ years of service: 120 Hours - 15 days each year - Accumulation Max 160 hours
  • Sick Pay Max Accrual of 56 hours per year Accrual begins immediately upon hire.
    • Per Executive Order (EO) 13706 Employees will accrue (earn) not less than one (1) hour of paid sick leave for every thirty (30) hours worked on or in connection with a covered contract, up to a maximum of fifty-six (56) hours.
  • Twelve Paid Holidays (12) Predetermined Holidays - Effective immediately
    • Plus four (4) days paid break between Christmas Day and New Year's Day for annual Christmas Break
  • ESI 401(k) Plan- 25% Discretionary Employer Match Effective after 90 days
  • Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Long Term Disability Insurance -Effective on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Enviremedial Services Inc. Pays approximately 90% of Employee only coverage and competitive percentages of dependent coverage.
