JOB DESCRIPTION

Brockwell Technologies, Inc. (BTI) is seeking an Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) to support our customer in Huntsville, AL.


Responsibilities

  • The candidate will develop and review plans and reports to ensure system and software products operate and comply with requirements and/or design specifications.
  • Coordinate and execute review of documentation involving test process, including test requirements, planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Provide technical expertise in data analyzed through verification and validation process. Must be knowledgeable of requirements and data used for analysis.
  • Must have ability and knowledge to perform evaluations of various software related products and covers assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation. Support customer needs and travels as required.
  • Ability to configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing, and provide technical know-how on particular products, operating systems and specialized environments.
  • Utilize organizational skills and possesses the ability to work well with others.
  • Exercise strong written and oral communication skills, and multi-tasks with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications listed below:

    • Requirements and traceability analysis.
    • Experience with developing and reviewing software test plans, test development, and test reports.
    • Software Change Request (SCR) and Issue Tracking Database access or export.
    • Experience reviewing requirements and design documents such as:
      • Software Requirement Specification (SRS)
      • Software Design Description (SDD)

Desired Qualifications

  • Safety-related information/documents
  • Analysis using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodology
  • IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS
  • Experience in MDA, PEO Missile and Space, and/or Sensor Model Accreditation.
  • Requirements analysis and document review including but not limited to the following:
    • Requirements Verification Matrix (RVM)
    • Prime Item Development Specification (PIDS)
    • Configuration Item Development Specifications (CIDS)
    • Interface Requirements Specification (IRS)
    • Interface Control Document (ICD)
    • Interface Design Description (IDD)
    • System/Subsystem Design Documentation (SSDD)
    • Software Design Description, Software Development Plan (SDP)
    • System Software Architecture Design Document (SSADD)

Minimum Experience

To be considered at Entry-Level, candidates must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience
  • Master's Degree with 0 years of experience

To be considered at Mid-Level, candidates must possess:

  • High School Diploma with 14 years of experience
  • Master's Degree with 8 years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience

To be considered at Senior-Level, candidates must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 14 years of experience
  • Master's Degree with 12 years of experience

Education/Certifications

  • High School Diploma with corresponding years of relevant experience listed above
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field with corresponding years of relevant experience listed above

Security Clearance

  • This position requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance government security clearance as a condition for placement and continued employment. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
