We're seeking fully licensed counselors to provide in-person and telehealth counseling for our office in Portland, Oregon.  You should have a master’s degree and a current license. You must have the interpersonal skills necessary to create the patients’ trust that allows you to address and resolve their most intimate mental health concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Behavioral Health Generalists – LPCs, LMFTs, and LCSWs.
  • Team members who believe in working together to provide the best mental health therapy.
  • Give individual and family treatment services for clients while developing skills to access community support and resources to advocate for themselves.
  • Offers intensive clinical services for high needs clients.
  • Assist with making referrals for services.
  • Complete intake mental health assessments, including screening for A/D issues. Obtains and maintains competence in all screening and assessment tools required by the state, county, or agency.
  • Document services to meet contract, administrative rules, and billing requirements.
  • Provide consultation, training, and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders to team members, student interns, and other professionals.
  • Remain knowledgeable of the latest methodologies in counseling to provide patients with the best possible care.
  • Strong character matters - integrity, honesty, adaptability, and quality of care.


Education and Work Experience


  • LPC, LMFT, or LCSW, whose authorized scope of practice includes mental health diagnosis and treatment.
  • Master’s degree in mental health-related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of counseling regulations and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, team development, organizational, and management skills.
  • Excellent computer proficiency in desktop computers and computer productivity applications including Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint), and Simple Practice EHR software.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary client and employee service, support, and assistance.
  • Ability to work independently primarily in an in-office environment with hybrid work possible depending on location and number of hours available for telehealth work.
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly outgoing, helpful personality.


What we offer:


  • We credential you with OHP/Medicaid 
  • We do extensive marketing and find you clients.
  • Counseling options: At least 12 In-person clients and up to 12 telehealth clients. 
  • Full-time at 20 counseling hours per week (at least 24 clients due to no-shows).
  • Flexibility with your schedule – you choose your workdays and hours.


Compensation and benefits:


  • 100% commission-based compensation
  • The Commission rate is 60% which typically pays $106.53 per hour (based on a percentage of our standard billing rate of $177.55 per hour)
  • We pay commission before receiving payments from insurance companies.
  • Payday every 2 weeks (5 days after the billing cycle ends and pays commission on submitted billing)
  • Full-time benefits pay a $575 per month stipend that can be used on medical insurance (dental & vision included), 401K, additional PTO accrual, or education reimbursement.
  • Paid time off (accrues every pay period based on hours of counseling sessions)
  • Paid holidays (6 total: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day)
