Role Overview:

As the Vice President of Technical Marketing at Index Engines, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our marketing efforts by blending technical expertise with innovative marketing strategies. You will develop and execute technical marketing initiatives that effectively communicate the value of our products and services to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive technical marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Product Positioning: Define and articulate the unique value proposition of our software products and services, ensuring clear differentiation in the market.
  3. Content Development: Creation of compelling technical content, including whitepapers, case studies, technical blogs, and other collateral, to educate and engage our target audience.
  4. Thought Leadership: Establish Index Engines as a thought leader in the industry by identifying opportunities for speaking engagements, webinars, and industry events.
  5. Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to develop technical sales tools and resources that support the sales process and drive revenue growth.
  6. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, providing valuable insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and go-to-market strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in technical marketing leadership roles within the software industry.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development methodologies and enterprise software solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience leading and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed decisions and optimize marketing performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
