Position Summary:

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will handle sourcing, attracting, and recruiting top talent for positions in the Government Contracting Industry. You will play a crucial role in finding candidates having the skills, experience, and expertise necessary to meet the unique needs of our government clients.

In this role, you will work closely with Hiring Managers and the People Operations Team to understand their hiring needs and support targeted recruitment strategies. You will use various sourcing techniques, including networking, social media, and job boards, to passively and actively identify and engage with potential candidates. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work in a highly dynamic environment that requires excellent time management skills. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and evaluating candidates, always in coordination with the Hiring Manager.

Successful candidates for this position will have a strong understanding of the Government Contracting Industry and the unique challenges and requirements of recruiting within this sector. You will have a proven track record of sourcing and attracting top talent, with a deep understanding of recruitment best practices. In addition, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with candidates and collaborate with internal team members to ensure the right candidates are selected.

The ideal candidate will be an agile self-starter with excellent time management and interpersonal skills who thrives in a highly dynamic and changing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for government contracting positions, predominantly in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including networking, social media, and job boards, to passively and actively identify, and engage with potential candidates
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' interpersonal and technical skills, experience, and fit for specific government contracting roles
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and the People Operations Team to understand hiring needs and develop targeted recruitment plans
  • Build and maintain an engaged pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future government contracting positions
  • Maintain internal recruiting communication boards
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from first sourcing to offer acceptance
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Required:

  • B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration or Related Field
  • Experience using Project Management Software to manage multiple projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in the Government Contracting and/or Architecture/Engineering/Construction industries
  • Solid understanding of the Government Contracting and/or Architecture/Engineering/Construction industries and the unique requirements of recruiting within these industries
  • Proven track record of sourcing and attracting top talent for Government Contracting and/or Architecture/Engineering/Construction positions
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and the commitment to stay current on changing marketing trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software

Work Setting/Environment/Travel Requirements:

  • 100% Remote
  • Monday through Friday, Normal business hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Occasional travel may be needed
