The candidate will be responsible for executing strategic plans and achieving sales goals. The candidate who will succeed appreciates the challenge of a growing sales market and establishing successful B2B partnerships.This role is fully remote and will report to the Senior Director Health Brands.

Responsibilities

  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships across Human Health revenue channels.
  • Identifies sales opportunities by staying informed on publications, regulatory changes, and industry announcements
  • Responsible for developing and growing B2B revenue across campuses, recruitment marketing spends, corporate workforce development and enterprise CE revenue channels.
  • Daily utilization of Salesforce to create andmaintain client records, manage pipeline, track emails and deliver forecast reporting of sales and retention to the Senior Director of Health Brands
  • Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, prospecting tools, online research and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
  • Works collaboratively on the upsell/cross-sell opportunities at time of renewal
  • Facilitate regular check-ins with Strategic Account Manager to understand retention progress and address any challenges
  • Come prepared to discuss success, retention and sales attainment and forecast, as well as, challenges with the Senior Director of Health Brandsduring weekly 1x1
  • Discovers and explores business opportunities and communicates with the sales leaders
  • Strong understanding of company products or services as well as market position to keep business competitive
  • Communicates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development and sales deliverables.
  • Launches kickoff calls, when needed, to communicate with all pertinent stakeholders/job functions to ensure the deliverables involved in the contract
  • Utilizes solutions selling to align product offerings with client’s needs
  • Closes new business deals by involving the strategic account manager to coordinate the deliverables requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand professional networks and promote the company's products or services
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ Years of sales management or leadership experience in medical sales
  • B2B Human Health Sales experience, including background and contacts
  • Self-Starter with exceptional communication, coaching training and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in DOMO and other data aggregation tools, Salesforce, Hubspot, various learning management systems, and call monitoring systems
  • Agility in handling various types of tasks and the ability to flexibly pivot based on business need
  • Attention to detail and a data-driven focus on metrics to drive results
  • Strategic thinking, inclusive of oversight of process and operations
  • A talent, resilience, and resourcefulness to quickly resolve friction points with internal and external stakeholders
  • Professionalism and integrity
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Proven track record of collaboration with cross-functional departments
