The Role:

As a Project Manager/Planner at WORKS by JD, you’ll play a pivotal role in our construction operations, ensuring every project runs smoothly from planning to completion. You’ll be the driving force behind project management, coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project estimates, maintaining client satisfaction, and ensuring our services meet the highest quality standards. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of our company, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring that every project meets our exacting standards.


What You Bring:

Experience: 5-10 years in construction project management or a related field, such as estimating, architecture, engineering, or design.


Customer Focus: A proven ability to maintain high levels of customer service and a strong work ethic.


Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.


Technical Proficiency: Experience with construction management software, database management, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.


Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of building/remodeling, project estimating, and construction processes.


Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously.


Team Player: The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Professionalism: A commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.


Mobility: Willingness to travel 45 minutes to 1 hour outside of Beverly and work in various New England weather conditions.


Physical Agility: The ability to maneuver in both office and field environments, including sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and driving.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the company’s vision, promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, and enhance client experiences.


Team Management: Lead and support the Virtual Project Planning Team, including Estimators, and ensure seamless communication across all team members.


Project Oversight: Manage project progress, quality, billing, and subcontractor relationships, ensuring compliance with company standards and client satisfaction.


Administrative Excellence: Handle project-related paperwork, maintain job files, and manage communication databases with meticulous attention to detail.


Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures, conduct regular safety training, and ensure adherence to OSHA & EPA regulations.
