This position will also support in Raw Materials/Finished goods analysis by gathering and organizing data needed to maintain optimum inventory levels.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Analysis of customer forecasts and projects. Use mathematical modeling and database analyzing skills to develop production plans that can best accommodate customer requests while optimizing production capabilities. Work with other members in the Supply Chain to identify issues causing conflicts with the production plan, collaborate to find solutions and improvement. Conduct monthly capacity planning. Support in Raw Materials/Finished goods analysis by gathering and organizing data needed to maintain optimum inventory levels. Help Desk support. Work closely with assigned sales area to find solutions to customer issues. Support the development of business processes to accommodate changing business needs as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Interface with Sales, to keep sales forecast information current and accurate.
2. Analyze sales forecasts and sales projects, to develop a production plan to support customer needs.
3. Actively exchange customer and project information with the sales team to screen future demands.
4. Work with other Supply Chain team members to implement a production plan that best meets our customer needs, while optimizing our production capabilities.
5. Notify management of current capacity situation.
6. Review and revise production, work and shipment schedules; conferring with appropriate departments to determine progress of work and completion dates.
7. Support Planning Team in development of a long-range production plan, with future capacity considerations.
8. Be available as a Help Desk for the Sales staff in your assigned area, to help solve customer issues, that have not been solved through normal channels.
9. Support Planning Team in the development of business processes, to accommodate ever changing business needs.
10. Gather, organize and analyze Raw Material and Finish Goods data to support Raw Material and Finished Goods Analysis to determine actions of slow moving/obsolete items in order to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
