Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all daily operations of the finance department, including disbursements and collections.
  • Preparation of all financial reports in a timely manner.
  • Oversee all treasury responsibilities, including debt financing and debt service payments, and bank reconciliations.
  • Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions.
  • Recommend benchmarks and metrics for measuring the financial and operating performance of the company.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
  • Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
  • Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Establish a documented system of financial policies and procedures. Draft new company policies as required.
  • Direct and provide all assistance required for the annual financial audit and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
  • Coordinate tax matters, as required.
  • Supervise accounting support staff
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
