Systems Administrator I

Position Summary:
As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing the IT infrastructure and systems of our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our clients' IT environments, as well as providing technical support, managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of all customer facing systems. In addition, the Systems Administrator is responsible for the planning, design, and development of our client's environment while ensuring compatibility and interoperability of new systems or upgrades being deployed.
The position requires expertise in a wide range of IT topics with a focus on delighting the client Your experience in delivering IT solutions that maximize client uptime will be the key to your success.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Provide technical support to clients, addressing their IT issues and requests. This may involve troubleshooting hardware and software problems, resolving network issues, and offering assistance with various IT-related tasks.
- System Maintenance: Ensure the stability and performance of clients' IT systems. This includes regular updates, patch management, and proactive monitoring to identify and address potential issues before they become critical.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect client data and systems. This includes firewall configuration, antivirus software deployment, and regular security audits.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain backup strategies to safeguard client data and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures or data loss.
- Network Administration: Manage and optimize clients' network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Ensure that the network is secure, efficient, and meets the clients' business needs.
- Server Administration: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, whether on-premises or in the cloud. This may include Windows and virtualization platforms.
- Cloud Services: Manage and monitor cloud-based services, such as Azure, if your clients utilize them. Ensure that cloud resources are efficiently provisioned and secured.
- Hardware Management: Maintain and upgrade clients' hardware, including servers, workstations, and peripherals. This may involve hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of clients' IT systems, configurations, and changes. Proper documentation is crucial for efficient troubleshooting and disaster recovery.
- IT Strategy: Work with clients to align their IT infrastructure and technology with their business goals. Provide recommendations for improvements and cost-effective solutions.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that clients' IT systems comply with industry regulations and security standards. This may involve conducting security assessments and audits.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Set up monitoring tools to track system performance and generate regular reports for clients, highlighting key performance metrics and potential issues.
- Training and Knowledge Sharing: Educate Stored Tech Engineers on internal systems including but not limited to Kaseya, Backup platforms, Bit Defender, Crypto Prevent,
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to critical IT issues and incidents, working to minimize downtime and data loss during emergencies.
- Develop client specific change management processes to include: backup strategy, patching schedule, maintenance window schedule (quarterly system wide patches of firewalls, firmware, etc.) System Upgrades (VMware, Microsoft OS, etc.)
- Perform any additional job duties as requested by management to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience - Preferred
- Experience with Autotask PSA and Kaseya RMM a plus.
